we just released the new SumtnSumtn Widget for Website and Blog owners. If clicked the widget opens a twitter annotation sidebar on your website.  Old-fashioned TweetThis- and Retweet-buttons are history. This is your personal Sidewiki-like system based on twitter for your website.

SumtnSumtn interviews

July 26, 2009

Two weeks after the launch we are quite happy with the media coverage  and the great feedback we got. Most of the people love our app and the idea behind it. Just one week after the launch two of the biggest german blog websites interviewed us and posted the following articles (german):

Check them out and stay tuned..

Announcing launch

July 12, 2009

Today we are proud to announce the official start of We added a new design to our sidebar and redesigned the website, which now has dynamic content created by you. More features will follow in the next weeks.

So check out our new website and spread the word about “onsite tweeting”. Any feedback is appreciated.

Cheers Tobi

Getting close to open the doors..

July 5, 2009

We got most of the feedback from our private beta testers and are happy about all the positive comments. Sentences like “I love the app”, “cool idea” or that they are already recommending it, show us that we are on the right way. We also got some great ideas for new features that we will implement in the near future. Thanks to all of you!

We are working on some final features for the start and will go online and be available for the public at the end of this week. Watch out and spread the word!

Yours, Tobi

Tweetboard Alpha – the first copycat?

June 27, 2009

I’m actually wondering that Tweetboard Alpha is getting so much attention in the Twitter Search. This is true viral spread. The thing is that they have exactly the same approach as SumtnSumtn BUT one big difference: They do have website owners as their target group to embed their sidebar, WE do have Twitter-users and website owners as our target group! Our widget for website owners will come soon, but this is a true competition now for getting the most viral spread. We’re looking forward how this race will go on, but one thing is for sure: our idea of “Onsite Twittering” is ready for the market! Spread the word and stay tuned.

Waiting to get legal..

June 18, 2009

Since two weeks we are waiting to get legal and the private beta is still running. In the next two weeks we will ask our beta testers for feedback. As soon as we have evaluated the feedback and got our register number from the court we will open SumtnSumtn for the public and bring “onsite twittering” into the world. More soon – stay tuned.

cheers, Tobi

First group of extended private beta testers invited

May 31, 2009

Today we startet to invite the first group of extended private beta testers to join our beta test of SumtnSumtn. We will invite more during the next days and will hopefully get great feedback. We want to know what they think of the approach that SumtnSumtn goes and of course we want to get technical feedback. So to all of you who take part thanks for your interest and we hope we can make you be a part of sumtn cool and great.

For those who are not invited yet stay tuned and check back at the latest when we go public.

cheers, Tobi
